Hi, I'm Kari, the hands behind Izzy Lou Art. I create needle felted landscapes, one tuft of wool at a time, turning real places and memories into textured pieces you can hang on your wall.

I'm based in Salt Lake City, Utah, where the gorgeous landscapes bring me peace, clarity, and inspiration. Every piece starts with wool and a felting needle, built up in layers until the light and shape of a place come through.

Whether it's a landscape I create that you fall in love with or a custom commission of somewhere that means something to you, I'd love to help you bring it home

Commissions are open!

Fifteen spots, one holiday season — I'm opening up a limited run of custom needle felted landscapes just in time for gifting (or keeping for yourself, no judgment). Pick your size, share your special place, and let's turn it into something soft, textured, and made to last. Once the fifteen are gone, they're gone until next round

I've always been a maker, give me wool, paper, paint, whatever's around, and I'll find a way to turn it into something. Texture and color have pulled at me since I was a kid, and so has anything that looks like it came straight out of the mountains. Then I found needle felting, and it just clicked. There's something about pulling a landscape out of raw wool, layer by layer, that feels like the closest I've gotten to putting a feeling into something you can touch.
